\non behalf of the organizers and just all of us, we want to thank you for contributing to OZ-16<\/a> and for making it again a super-successful event with 68 presentations<\/a> from 17 countries and 38 exhibitors<\/a> from 10 countries – providing the great environment for the global brainstorming on Nanostructures ! Due to our super-official photographer Dr. Min Cheol Kang<\/a>, you can find the OZ-16 photo-gallery<\/a> with hundreds of pictures online. All of them will come with the proceedings in about 2 weeks.<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

For now it is our all pleasure to invite you to the first OZ-Workshop at GIC and the official opening of the new Zoz-GIC Center<\/a> in Changzhou at Jiangsu province near Shanghai and Nanjing International Airports. Both events will be held on May 17.The workshop on nanostructured materials and applications is accompanied by an online-onsite FuturZement|Beton<\/a> demonstration, representing nanostructured high performance cement\/concrete at high strength, virtually endless durability, enormous CO2-emission saving at super cost effective economics.Insofar attendees interested in construction materials for green\/clean and resources caring civil engineering in the future are invited on the second day, May 18, to also attend the destructive testing of ASTM-sample-cubes manufactured during May 17.\"\"<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Zoz-GIC Center is the third center in Asia and the first one in China. For the official opening of both, Center and Workshop, we very much appreciate the support of Mr. Xiao-Fan Xie from the Chinese Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) and the Executive Vice President of the China Municipal Engineering Association (CMEA) guiding the ceremony. That is, next to the “all nanostructure targets” from ODS to H2-solidstate-tanks, from Battery and Al-CNT light-weight to energetics & propulsion, one highly appreciated reason, that the super-concrete demonstration already generated confirmed attendance from so far more than 20Chinese cement\/concrete producers and institutions. You may have met Mr. Xie during OZ-16 in Germany.\"\"OZ-Workshops, likewise the OZ-Symposia are nanostructure-related and industry-orientated brainstorming events. The workshops are usually smaller with more local character and therefore organized in various places all over the world, including Ulyanovsk in Russia, Hyderabad in India, Tainan & Miaoli in Taiwan, Berkeley, CA & Sterling, VA in the United States and now Changzhou in China.<\/p>\n
