We are also very proud to announce, that the mayor excursion at OZ-15 will head out to Fukuda Metal Foil & Powder Co. Ltd. and we very much appreciate the support of President Sonoda. Fukuda represents one of the major companies combining very long tradition and at the same time a very high innovative level in powder- and metallurgy and materials science thus we are looking forward to a fascinating and super interesting visit at one of the Fukuda sites.
Also the schedule for the next OZ-Workshop at Taiwan has been fixed. In Taiwan, up to now 5 annual OZ-Workshops have been organized, 3 times at Tainan and two times at Miaoli. 2010-2012 at Solar Applied Materials Corp. in Tainan and 2013-2014 at Porite Taiwan Co. Ltd. in Miaoli and under full continuing support of Solartech. In continuing cooperation with CEO Dr. Ma from Solartech and Chairman Chu from Porite, no. 6, the OZ-Workshop 2015 will be held back at Solartech on April 23, 2015.

In the meantime we are all going to end this year into the next challenging part of mankind calendar to open the next successful and amazing, interesting and promising chapter of the future – 2015 !
…and if somebody still needs an urgent seasons gift, we can recommend the Zoz-FuturBeton-Eagle: 152 beautiful kilos of nanostructure (high performance concrete) and more than a meter in width and height.
We wish you All a Merry Merry Christmas, sending greatest Seasons Greetings and All The BEST for 2014.

The goal of the OZ-Symposium on Nanostructures is:
- to meet people who are working in your niche-fields as given under “Technical Program”
- to gain new ideas and latest information in the field of materials science and process engineering;
in other words – looking over the edge of the plate in a kind of global brainstorming
The goal of the 8th German-Japanese OZ-Symposium is additionally:
- to help for the ongoing success of the Japanese Educational Exchange Programme under the roof of and 100% supported by the Japanese Government.
OZ-15 will provide a small but first-class technical program to cover aspects in
a niche and at the same time super important field of nanostructured materials in applied science and technology.
– High Kinetic Processing (MA, HEM, RM)
– Severe Plastic Deformation
– Microstructural Design
– Nano-Meso-Hybride Structures
– Sintering Metal/Ceramic & Compaction
– MIM, CIM, Spark Plasma Sintering
– Plasma Coating Techniques
in “nanostructure” applications such as
– Nanocrystalline & Amorphous Materials
– ODS, MMC, MCC, CCC
– Carbon Nanotube utilization
– M/C-Polymer compounds & WPC
– Construction Materials Cement/Concrete
– Sintered Materials Mass Production
– Fabrication of FuelCell, H2-Tank & Battery
– for Automobile & Stationary
in the field of advanced materials for industry, life, energy and
nature-saving.
The event is organized by Zoz Group & Ritsumeikan University supported by the Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization (R-GIRO) Project and mainly financed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan (MEXT) within the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Area in the academic project “Bulk Nanostructured Metals”.
