On society & political support from Germany and Russia for next March in Germany we very much appreciate the address by Matthias Wissmann, the President of the German Automotive Association VDA and Germany’s former Federal Minister of Transportation as well as the adress by Anatoli Chubais, CEO of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies.
Same we are very happy and feel very honoured that the political-economic opening from Japan, from Aerospace Industry and from the European Union will be contributed on Monday morning by a welcoming note from S. E. Takeshi Nakane, the Ambassador of Japan in Germany, by the welcoming address from Dr. Detlef Müller-Wiesner, Senior Vice President at EADS, the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company and by Christos Tokamanis, the Head of Nano Sciences and Nano Technologies at the European Commission with his note upon EU Horizon 2020.
We are very proud to announce Prof. Dr. Ludwig Schultz, Director at the IFW Dresden, the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden, Germany for the OZ-14 Ceremonial Lecture with his presentation on superconductors and superconducting thin films and Andreas Fuchs, the Chief Representative of Toyota Motor Europe for the OZ-14 Keynote Lecture with his global view and vision of today’s and future transportation from one of the largest car manufacturers in this world.
OZ-14 will be held from March 02-04, 2014 at Wenden/Olpe in Germany at the same location where OZ-12, OZ-10 and OZ-08 have been organised.
We very much appreciate ongoing financial support by the Japanese government which also for OZ-14 is obtained from the Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization (R-GIRO) Project and the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Area, “Bulk Nanostructured Metals”, through MEXT, Japan.
OZ-events are repeated annually and alternating from Germany to Japan where always the first Monday in March is the first session day. The Sunday before is for arrival, registration and get-together and insofar is listed in the schedule. The conference dinner will always be on Monday evening.
After the conference ending on Tuesday afternoon, we usually arrange a GP-Students-Day on Wednesday which is open to all OZ-attendees. Please block also your calendar for OZ-14 and please consider that also and even a small table top expo from your company/from your organization does stimulate discussion and interaction very much !
